About Ben
Ben Irantalab is a partner whose practice focuses exclusively on representing clients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and severe orthopaedic injuries. He first joined Oatley Vigmond as a summer student in 2013, returned as an articling student, and became an associate lawyer after being called to the bar in June 2015. He has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, as well as before the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, and has acted on leave applications to the Supreme Court of Canada. Ben holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, and an Honours BA in Criminology from York University. He completed an international law internship at UNESCO and a semester abroad at George Washington University Law School, and in 2013 he won the Best Oralist Award in Canada at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
