About Kajal
Kajal Ervin is Firm Chairperson at JSS Barristers, where she maintains a diverse practice with a focus on class actions and corporate commercial arbitrations. She has extensive experience in large and complex file management, advocating on behalf of individuals, corporations, and groups of litigants, with particular expertise in e-discovery and document management in high-volume litigation. Kajal has served as co-lead counsel in several class actions, including a certified class action against the Calgary Stampede and a product liability case involving Hyundai vehicles. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2007 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2008, after completing her articles with Alberta Justice. She has been recognized as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation and a Next Generation Partner by Legal 500.
