Kady Stachiw graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2015 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. Originally from Thunder Bay, she summered and articled with Rene Larson Law Office and has practised in real estate and wills and estates. She has served as a Director of the Thunder Bay Law Association since 2016 and was recently appointed its Vice President, and she has taught the Wills and Estates course at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. She received the Thunder Bay Law Association's 2021 Service to the Profession Award and a Chronicle Journal Reader's Choice Award for Best Lawyer in 2022, and she is a provincial mixed curling champion, having won the 2013 Northern Ontario Mixed Curling Provincial Championship.
