About Alana

Alana Wilson is an associate lawyer at Ruberto Sheikh LLP who graduated from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2025, concurrently earning a Juris Doctor and a Master of Social Work. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2026 after articling with the firm. At Windsor Law she competed in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition, placing second overall, volunteered as a caseworker at Community Legal Aid in Windsor, and served as an executive member of the Family Law Society. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Work with minors in Criminology and Law and Society from Wilfrid Laurier University, and she is a registered social worker with the OCSWSSW. She joined Ruberto Sheikh LLP as a summer student in 2024 before returning to article with the firm, and her background in social work informs her interest in family law and child protection.
