About Justin

Justin Lafferty is an associate at MLT Aikins LLP in Winnipeg, practising corporate and commercial litigation with a focus on oil and gas and energy matters. He handles complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes and has appeared before all levels of Alberta court, the Ontario Superior Court, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Canada, and various arbitration panels. Lafferty clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal in Calgary before his call to the Alberta bar in 2018. He earned his J.D. with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law in 2016, where he received top marks in Contract Law, Trusts, and Securities Regulation.
