About Julien

Julien Meunier is a member of the Montreal office's Insurance and Civil Litigation group and has more than ten years of litigation experience. He previously spent five years as senior legal counsel for a major Quebec telecommunications company, where his work centred on civil and commercial litigation, particularly media law matters. In that role he contested publication bans and sealing orders, defended the company in defamation suits, and managed major cases and class actions, including access to information matters before the Commission d'accès à l'information. From 2012 to 2018 he worked in private practice handling civil and commercial litigation, with emphasis on civil liability, insurance law and construction law. Meunier holds a law degree from Université Laval and a bachelor's in business administration from HEC Montréal, and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2011.
