About Julie

Julie Young is a senior associate practising in medical malpractice, professional regulation and misconduct, and civil litigation. She has particular experience assisting physicians with regulatory proceedings and medico-legal complaints before the College of Physicians and Surgeons and hospital bodies, and she advises on and conducts workplace and regulatory investigations. A former RCMP officer, she brings that policing background to her work on matters involving police. Her civil litigation practice focuses on insurance defence across professional liability and personal injury matters. Young earned an MBA/JD from Université de Moncton's Faculty of Law in 2016 and a B.Sc. (Hons) from Dalhousie University in 2006.
