Julie Després is originally from Shediac, New Brunswick, and is an associate at Murphy Collette Murphy. She studied criminology at the University of Alberta before earning her Juris Doctor from Université de Moncton in 2021, and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada in family law while interning with the Crown Prosecutor's Office in Moncton during law school. Her practice focuses primarily on personal injury, civil litigation, wills and estates, and real estate, and she is fluently bilingual in French and English. She received a Recruitment Scholarship from the New Brunswick Law Foundation and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Fredericton.
