About Josiah
Josiah Allison is an associate on Baker Newby's litigation team, working to resolve clients' commercial and personal conflicts in and out of court. He articled with a national law firm in Calgary and was called to the Bar of Alberta in 2024, before joining Baker Newby after his call to the Bar of British Columbia in March 2026. Allison attended Trinity Western University, where he played varsity basketball for the Spartans, and studied law at the University of Calgary, where he volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice and competed in the 2023 Kawaskimhon Aboriginal Law Moot.
