About Jeremy

Jeremy Fraiberg is co-chair of Osler's Mergers and Acquisitions group and a former co-chair of its mining law group. He has represented public and private companies, boards of directors, special committees, private equity firms, and high-net-worth managers on a wide range of acquisitions, securities offerings, activist mandates, and other corporate transactions. Fraiberg regularly advises investment dealers on fairness opinions, valuations, and complex financial advisory mandates. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global, Lexpert's Leading 500 Cross-Border Lawyers, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and IFLR1000. Fraiberg has taught contested mergers and proxy contests at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and has written and presented on a range of legal topics. After completing his legal studies, he clerked for Chief Justice Antonio Lamer at the Supreme Court of Canada.
