About Kelly

Kelly O'Brien joined Sampson McPhee as an associate in 2019 and has built a practice focused on estate planning, probate matters, administrative law, and complex litigation involving estates, real estate, family, and Indigenous law. She has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and is a Full Member of STEP and a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner. Kelly holds a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and previously completed a Public Relations program at Mount Saint Vincent University, including a term of study in Lille, France. She is a member of the Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Barristers' Societies and the Canadian Bar Association.
