About Joseph

Joseph Tumini focuses on civil litigation and insurance defence, particularly tort claims such as personal injury, property damage, disputes between insurers over priority, and accident benefits matters. He joined Jones Kopp Litigation Partners LLP in 2023, building on insurance defence experience gained at other Toronto firms. Joseph has represented clients in proceedings before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, Small Claims Court, the License Appeal Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Brock University in 2006 and an LL.B. from the University of London in 2016, followed by a Global Professional LLM from the University of Toronto in 2017 and an LLM in Canadian Law from Osgoode Hall in 2018. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019 and belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
