About Jordan

Jordan A. Forsyth is a partner in Baker Newby's solicitors' group, working with business clients, non-profits and individuals on transactions, agreements and negotiations, and on tax planning and business restructuring alongside clients' accountants and advisors. Born in Calgary and raised in Langley, he earned his undergraduate degree in English literature, minoring in history, at the University of the Fraser Valley, then obtained his Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia, receiving the John E. Sullivan Memorial Prize in Constitutional Law. During law school he volunteered with Prisoners' Legal Services and the legal clinic at First United Church in East Vancouver, and interned with the Provincial Court system. He has served as a board member and president of the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society, and is a current board member of the Chilliwack Foundation.
