About Jonfranco
Jonfranco Monaco is an associate at KMB Law and a member of its Intellectual Property and Corporate/Commercial groups. He advises clients on a range of intellectual property matters, with a growing focus on technology and data privacy, and carries primary responsibility for the firm's IP files. He works closely with the Corporate/Commercial group on the IP and technology side of M&A deals, including due diligence, licensing, and data issues that arise in purchase and sale transactions, and helps clients protect and commercialize their intellectual property. He also advises on asset and share purchase transactions and general corporate matters. Jonfranco earned his Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
