About Amy
Amy Delisle is a partner at KMB Law who leads the firm's Franchising, Retail and Distribution Group. She advises start-ups, family businesses, and national corporations on business law generally, with particular emphasis on franchise systems for both franchisors and franchisees. Her corporate and commercial work includes mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and shareholder and partnership matters, along with advice on website terms and privacy issues for businesses operating online. In franchising, Amy assists with structuring and developing franchise systems, disclosure compliance, drafting franchise agreements, and advising foreign franchisors entering Ontario. She holds the CFE (Certified Franchise Executive) designation and serves as an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association's Franchise Section. Amy earned her law degree from the University of Calgary in 2006 and a BA from Queen's University in 2002, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007.
