He received his law degree from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2021, where he won the Honourable Angus L. MacDonald Prize, the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP Prize for highest overall average in private law courses, the Judge Fran Potts award, and the David M. Jones Memorial Award. He lives in Clayton Park with his wife, their two daughters, and their two Norwegian Forest cats.
