About John

John Boyle is a partner in Cox & Palmer's commercial litigation group, based in Halifax. He assists clients with contractual and property claims, including matters related to construction, real property, leasing, shareholder disputes, director and officer liability, and fraud, and has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia. John is also a part-time faculty member at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law, where he teaches the Corporate Securities Moot Team, and serves as a member-at-large for the Canadian Bar Association's National Construction and Infrastructure Law section and Vice-President of the Nova Scotia Bar Association's Construction Law section. He earned his BA from St. Francis Xavier University in 2012 and his JD from Dalhousie University in 2015, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2016.
