About John

John Kudrinko is a partner at Ackroyd LLP, which he joined as an articled student in 1985 and has remained with since his call to the bar in 1986. He holds a BA in economics and an LLB from the University of Alberta. His practice covers civil litigation involving insurance claims, personal injury, family disputes, and corporate commercial matters, along with a criminal defence practice focused on Wildlife Act and treaty-related matters for Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients. He also advises Metis settlements in Alberta on disputed election proceedings and appears regularly before provincial and appellate courts. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, and has instructed for the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
