About Chinedu

Chinedu Kema is a lawyer at Ackroyd LLP. He earned an LLB from Imo State University in Nigeria in 2011 and graduated from the Nigerian Law School with first-class honours, ranking among the top performers. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012 and worked as a partner at a Lagos-based law firm before completing Canada's National Committee on Accreditation qualification requirements and being called to both the Alberta and Ontario Bars in 2024. His practice at Ackroyd covers oil and gas, financing, corporate and commercial transactions, and employment law matters. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Ontario.
