About John

John D. Wright is a founding partner whose practice centres on securities and corporate law for owner-operated and junior public companies, with particular depth in capital pool companies and real estate joint ventures. He also handles corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financing. John earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in 1972 and his LLB there in 1975, and he was called to the bar in 1977. He serves as a director of several private and public companies and has sat on the boards of various private clubs and charities. Outside of work, he plays squash and golf and has coached children's sports teams.
