About Joey
Joey Chan practices environmental, regulatory, and Indigenous law, working on projects that affect the energy and natural resources sectors. Her matters have included proceedings before Canadian and Alberta regulators, among them the Canada Energy Regulator, Alberta's Utilities Commission, its Energy Regulator, and its Environmental Appeals Board. She regularly contributes to the firm's blog on energy transition topics. Joey earned her law degree from the University of Calgary and an undergraduate degree in international relations from the University of British Columbia. During law school, she served as president of the Diversity & Law Society and was involved with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
