About Akindele

Akindele Tawoju, known as Akin, practises civil and criminal litigation, immigration, family law, child welfare, personal injury, and real estate disputes at Peace Legal as an independent contractor. He graduated with First Class Honours in his Bachelor of Laws from Osun State University in Nigeria, where he was named overall best graduating student in his class, and completed the Nigerian Law School with First Class Honours. Akin holds a Master of Laws from the University of Calgary, specializing in natural resources, energy, and environmental law. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018 and the Alberta Bar in 2023, and before joining Peace Legal worked as an associate at a top-tier law firm in Nigeria and completed an articling secondment at a Calgary law firm.
