About Joe

Joe Rattan is a partner at Warren Sinclair LLP practising corporate, commercial, and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private financings, corporate reorganizations, and business purchases and sales. He advises clients across the agri-business, energy, pharmaceutical, cannabis, technology, commercial real estate, and private equity sectors on corporate governance, continuous disclosure, and securities regulatory compliance. Born and raised in Red Deer, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 2012, a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary in 2013, and his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Ottawa in 2016. Before joining Warren Sinclair, Joe practised at a boutique business and tax law firm and a full-service national firm in Calgary. He has volunteered with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project at the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Mustard Seed.
