About Alok

Alok Sunny, known as Sunny, is an associate at MHR Law LLP practicing in business and corporate law and real estate across the Olds and Didsbury offices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University in 2011 and his Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law at Delhi University in 2015, and was admitted to the Bar Council of India that same year. He received an NCA Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2021 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2024. Before moving to Alberta, Sunny appeared before the Supreme Court of India and the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, and he now works extensively on residential and commercial real estate matters and corporate transactions. Outside the office, he enjoys basketball, tennis, travelling and music.
