About Jessica

Jessica Karlsen is an associate at Sitka Law Group with a practice focused on real estate, estate planning, estate administration, and corporate and business law. Raised in rural Manitoba, Karlsen earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Manitoba in 2018 and a JD from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops in 2021, winning the Dean's Course Prize in Basic Tax Law there. Karlsen articled at a small Victoria criminal defence firm before being called to the British Columbia bar in 2022. Karlsen is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Victoria Bar Association.
