About Brent

Brent Pearce earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2003 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2004. He practised for a decade as a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada at a small firm with a broad civil practice, including family law, criminal law, construction and property development law, employment law, tax law, and personal injury law, and he has continued to take on pro bono files for people who couldn't otherwise afford representation. Since returning to Victoria in 2014, Pearce has practised exclusively in family law. He sits on the board of the HeroWork Program Society, a not-for-profit that renovates infrastructure for charities, serving as vice-chair.
