About Jesse

Jesse Leonard is a senior associate whose corporate law practice centers on mergers and acquisitions along with project transactions. He has considerable experience guiding private equity firms, along with pension plans, asset managers and government authorities, through a wide range of investment activities and project developments across different sectors. His experience covers acquisitions and sales both within Canada and across borders, competitive auction processes, sizeable infrastructure and public-private partnership work, along with joint ventures and minority investment deals. In 2019 and 2020, Leonard spent six months on secondment with Brookfield's private equity group. He has also given time to the Law in Action Within Schools program, which uses legal education to help high school students succeed and become engaged, active citizens.
