About Jeremy

Jeremy Opolsky is a partner known for his work as a litigator handling complex and challenging disputes. He clerked for Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella on the Supreme Court of Canada bench before returning to practice, and he has since appeared before that court many times, representing both parties and intervenors. His corporate and commercial litigation practice covers shareholder disputes, including complex oppression cases, plus fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and trust disputes, and he frequently appears on Ontario's Commercial List. He also maintains an appellate and public law practice, working with trial counsel on cases from leave applications up to the Supreme Court, and handles insolvency matters including major CCAA litigation. Opolsky is also a board member of the Canadian Stage Company.
