About Jennifer

Jennifer Leach Sandford practises in trusts, estates, and tax planning, and represents clients in dealings with tax authorities. She was an accredited mediator in Quebec and has a special interest in using mediation to avoid or resolve estate disputes. She grew up in Vancouver, won the Stikeman Elliot prize in Tax Law at UBC, and is a regular contributor to STEP Inside, the newsletter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canada). She relocated to Victoria from Montreal, where she practised tax, trust and estate matters for over ten years, after five earlier years in Toronto, and is a Full Member of STEP Canada.
