About Emma

Emma Neary is a certified collaborative lawyer and accredited family law mediator who focuses on out-of-court resolution of family and divorce matters, including asset preservation and estate planning through prenuptial and cohabitation agreements. Born and raised in Victoria, she completed her JD at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law and began her career in Calgary at a boutique family law firm before returning to Victoria. She joined Horne Coupar in 2016 to expand the firm's family law practice, and sits on the executive of the Collaborative Family Separation Professionals group and the CBA Family Law – Vancouver Island Section.
