About Clare

Clare Sparks began her legal career practising family law in Vancouver, moved to Victoria in 2018, and now practises exclusively in estate litigation, drawing on her family law background. Born in the Northwest Territories and raised in Southern Ontario, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Italian Language at the University of King's College before her JD at the University of Victoria. She is a member of the Law Society of BC, the CBA Wills, Estates and Trusts Section, and the Women's Lawyers Forum, and was a contributing author to the Family Law Sourcebook for British Columbia and the CLEBC Family Practice Manual.
