About Jenna

Jenna Wilson has more than 25 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution, focusing on emerging areas like biotechnology and information technology. As a registered patent agent, Jenna has secured patent rights for clients in fields ranging from medicine and oil and gas to financial technology, and has managed large portfolios for multinational companies. She has taught patent law at the University of Windsor, co-authored a chapter on patents in a book about intellectual property disputes, and takes an active role with IPIC's Patent Committee, liaising with Canada's patent office on practice issues. She has also served on the Board of Examiners for the Patent Agent Qualifying Examination. She holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. in physics from the University of Waterloo.
