Mee Ling Wong is Counsel at Wilson Lue and works as both a lawyer and a patent and trademark agent, with more than eighteen years of experience developing patent filing and prosecution strategies for clients that range from large multinational companies to small start-ups and individual inventors. She works closely with innovators in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, as well as consumer products and oil and gas industries, focusing on drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Mee Ling regularly secures patent protection for clients in Canada and abroad, including the United States, Europe, and Asia, through her network of foreign patent counsel, and she also advises on patent enforcement matters such as validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate opinions. She sits on the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada's Continuing Professional Development and Industrial Designs committees and previously served on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Intellectual Property Review.
