About Cary
Cary Schneider co-founded Schneider Law Firm and was called to the Ontario bar in 2001 after earning his law degree from Osgoode Hall and a political science degree from McGill University. He holds a cybersecurity diploma from Harvard and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada, and his practice covers personal injury litigation, insurance disputes, and cyber and privacy matters. For his first 19 years in practice he represented major insurance companies at a large downtown Toronto firm, experience he now applies to help individuals fighting their insurers. He handles catastrophic loss claims including brain injury, orthopedic injury, chronic pain, psychological disability, and property loss, and he has argued cases before jury and judge-alone trials, the Court of Appeal, and Divisional Court. Cary is also retained to give expert opinions on standard of care in solicitor negligence claims and has testified as a qualified expert at trial. He founded and continues to write a quarterly insurance newsletter now in its seventeenth year.
