About Jeffrey

Jeffrey P. Hoffman is the firm's senior litigator and co-chair of its Franchise, Licensing & Distribution practice group. He works as a litigator, mediator, and arbitrator for employers, insurers, manufacturers, distributors, licensors, franchisors, and landlords, drawing on more than 37 years of commercial litigation experience before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He has been consistently recognized in publications such as Lexpert, Best Lawyers in Canada, and Chambers and Partners for his work in franchise and distribution law. Jeff frequently teaches and speaks for the Advocates' Society and the Ontario Bar Association and previously instructed in the civil litigation stream of the Bar Admission Course. He earned his BA with honours from the University of Toronto in 1983 and his LLB in 1986, and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1988.
