Jeffrey Benson is a partner in Cox & Palmer's St. John's office, practising in corporate and commercial matters including banking, secured financing, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and health law. He was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1980 after studying at Dalhousie University, and was appointed King's Counsel in 2002. He is a former President of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and past chair of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. He advises a range of national and international corporate clients across health care, manufacturing, transportation, and petrochemical industries.
