About Jean-François

Jean-François Carpentier practises commercial law with a focus on banking, insolvency and restructuring, secured lending and commercial litigation. He also handles civil litigation matters including professional malpractice, latent defects and personal injury claims, and has co-authored a leading publication on damages arising from personal injuries. He has worked on numerous employment-related disputes, representing both employees and employers. Carpentier graduated from the Dean's List at the Université de Montréal in 2001, earned an LL.M. with honours from the London School of Economics in 2003, and joined the firm after his call to the Bar of Québec in 2004.
