About Alexandre

Alexandre Brosseau-Wéry is a partner and litigator whose practice centers on medical malpractice and bodily and personal injury claims, with a focus on maximizing damages for catastrophic injuries. In 2024 he obtained a precedent-setting award of more than $28 million in the largest medical malpractice case in Canadian history, and he has handled numerous malpractice and injury cases across a range of medical specialties. He also handles subrogated claims for insurers and takes on high-profile class actions involving constitutional rights and Indigenous matters, including the Desjardins data breach settlement and the Atchom-Makoma class action. In 2025 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for personal injury and legal malpractice work. He often works on a contingency-fee basis and co-authors the personal injury assessment section of the Québec Juris-Classeur.
