About Jean

Jean A. Montigny practises business law, real estate law, civil law and civil and commercial litigation at Sternthal Montigny Greenberg St-Germain LLP, representing a diverse clientele of business owners, professionals and local, national and international companies before administrative and judicial tribunals. He has appeared before bodies including the Régie de l'énergie and the Gomery Commission. Montigny earned his LL.L. from the University of Montreal in 1981, later studying tax law for a year at Osgoode Hall Law School after receiving a Duff-Rinfret Scholarship from the federal Department of Justice, and was admitted to the Bar of Quebec in 1984.
