About Jason

Jason R. Filek is an associate at Baker Newby LLP practising wills and estates disputes, committeeships, property disputes, insurance claims, strata disputes, employment law, and civil and commercial litigation. Originally from Kamloops, he moved to Chilliwack in 2003 to join the firm as a law student, completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004, and was called to the British Columbia Bar the following year. He has served on the boards of the Rotary Club of Chilliwack, the Canadian Home Builders' Association of the Upper Fraser Valley and of the Fraser Valley, and the United Way of the Fraser Valley.
