About Jason

Jason has built a patent litigation and drug regulatory practice over more than twenty-five years at national and global firms. Appearances as counsel include precedent-setting matters before the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal, along with proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, and the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board. Jason is active with the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and sits on AIPPI's Standing Committee on Biotechnology, and is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Jason authored a chapter on best practices in IP litigation for a Carswell looseleaf publication and practises through a professional corporation.
