About Jaclyn

Jaclyn Seidman is a partner at Goodmans, a member of the Executive Committee, co-head of a business law group, and co-chair of the Women's Success Committee. Her work spans entertainment law, intellectual property, and a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. She represents major U.S., international, and Canadian studios, broadcasters, producers, and literary and business clients on media-related matters, including rights acquisitions, production legal issues, and copyright clearance. As a corporate and commercial lawyer, she also handles acquisitions and complex licensing arrangements. In 2018, she was named one of Lexpert's Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40, and several publications have recognized her entertainment law practice. Jaclyn also serves as a trustee of the Royal Ontario Museum, the first person reappointed to that board for three consecutive terms, and chairs its governance committee.
