About Aaron

Aaron Starr is a partner at McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office and a member of Star Blanket Cree Nation. His practice covers corporate and commercial matters, real estate, estate planning, and First Nations legal issues, including projects on First Nation lands, natural resource development, governance structures, and business acquisitions. He joined McKercher as an articling student in 2012 and became partner in 2019. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Manitoba and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law in 2011, was admitted to the Saskatchewan bar in May 2012, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers since 2021, including the 2026 designation in Aboriginal Law for Saskatoon.
