About Allan

Allan Stonhouse is a partner at McKercher LLP's Saskatoon office with a primary focus on health law within a general litigation practice that also covers professional responsibility, medical malpractice defence, administrative law, commercial disputes, insurance, class actions, First Nations law, and environmental issues. He has appeared before the Court of King's Bench, the Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, and Provincial Court. He joined McKercher in 2015 and became partner in 2018. Allan earned a Bachelor of Science with high honours in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004 and a Bachelor of Laws with distinction in 2007, was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2008, and was recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada 2026 for Health Care Law.
