About Jan
Jan Marin is a senior associate whose practice centers on professional negligence, particularly medical malpractice and birth injury cases. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and has chaired several of its sections, including Medical Malpractice, New Lawyers, and Women's. Jan also chairs the Board of the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation, applying her legal background to help families and clinicians working with premature infants. She volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario, staffing a quarterly legal hotline for low-income Ontarians, and coaches mooting for high school students through the Ontario Justice Education Network. She earned her J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2009 after completing a B.A. at Huron University College in 2005.
