About James
James McRae specializes in real estate, with extensive experience in the acquisition and sale of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties. His practice covers complex development projects, air-space parcelling, strata title development, land assemblies, and subdivisions, and he represents both landlords and tenants in commercial and shopping centre leasing. He joined Kornfeld LLP in 2000 and is a Vancouver native. He holds an LLB from the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary and a BA from the University of British Columbia, was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1990, and was listed in Best Lawyers in 2026.
