About James

James Dunn is an associate in RAR Litigation's Construction Group, advising multinational companies and venture-backed businesses on disputes, regulatory matters, and multi-jurisdictional compliance. Before joining RAR, he practiced at one of Canada's top national law firms in Toronto. James earned the Board of Governors Medal at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and received the Stephen Tatrallyay Memorial Award for the best construction law paper written by a Canadian law student. He holds a JD from the University of Toronto and both an MA and BA from the University of Windsor, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and Young Leaders in Infrastructure.
