About Alex
Alex Fotinos is an associate in RAR Litigation's Construction and Infrastructure Litigation Group. He represents general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in disputes over adjudication, liens, payment claims, breach of trust, building deficiencies and change orders, and has argued before the Divisional Court of Ontario and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He also advises on contract drafting, negotiations, RFP reviews and early-stage project risk management. Before joining RAR, Fotinos worked in-house at one of Canada's largest general contracting companies, where he handled contract negotiations on major public infrastructure projects, construction mediations, corporate acquisitions and custom contract drafting. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Dundee (2022) and a B.A. in Political Science from York University (2019), and belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Advocates' Society.
