About David

David Leck is an associate lawyer in RAR's Construction and Infrastructure Litigation Group, based in the Oakville and Richmond Hill offices. He focuses on complex construction disputes across Canada, handling litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation, and has worked on some of the country's largest infrastructure projects as well as specialized developments. David represents owners, contractors, design professionals such as engineers and architects, consultants, sureties, and insurers in disputes involving public transit, mining, hospital, condominium, and commercial projects, with experience across design-build, EPC/EPCM, and P3 delivery models. His work includes claims tied to delay, deficiencies, breach of contract, insurance and bond coverage, construction liens, and breach of trust. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Durham College, teaching construction contract administration and law, and he has been recognized as a 'One to Watch' by Best Lawyers Canada. David earned his J.D. from Queen's University Faculty of Law in 2018 and a B.A. (Honours) in Philosophy and Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2015.
