About Damon

Damon Stoddard is a senior associate at RAR Litigation who works across the firm's Commercial and Construction groups. Over 15 years he has litigated, mediated, arbitrated, and settled a wide range of disputes, including construction lien, bond, contract, breach of trust, delay, and insurance claims, as well as employment matters, Tarion proceedings, bankruptcy and insolvency issues, and partnership disputes. He has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, trustees, workers, and suppliers, and also handles contract drafting, tender review, and risk mitigation advice. Before joining RAR in 2022, he practiced at a boutique construction law firm in Toronto. Damon regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court, the Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Commercial List, and has also appeared before the Federal Court of Canada. He holds an LL.M. from McGill, an LL.B. from the University of Victoria, and a B.Sc. in honours biochemistry from McGill.
